SASLS - Snilles Automatic Shopping List System
I got this idea when I where discussing with my girlfriend for a better solution of having the Shopping list. At the time we hade the list hanging on the fridge door. And I'm sure you all know where that list is when you are in the store. Exactly, STILL on the fridge door. Or, one of you are home and the other one in the store, what happen, either you call home and asks what to shop, or ask the person at home to "SMS" you all the tings to buy. And we all know how fun it is to SMS shopping lists... Then I got the idea, what if you had the list in a digital form already? I have a cellular phone that can read "WAP" pages (I think most cellular phones can today). Just go to a wap page and the list is there... :)
The idea is as follows, you use one normal web page for adding / editing the list. This can be done from any internet connected computer with a web browser (if you know the address). Then when you are in the store, you browse to another address and you get the list directly to your phone. When you are in the store, you just check the items you have picked up and at the end when done, click the "check out" button. All the things you have picked up in the store will be unchecked from the list.
Later on when you want to add again, you don't have to type all the data again, just go to the "edit" page and check the items you need, and the list is updated again.
Also, the prices of the items can be added to have a "overview" of what the cost will be. And all items are categorised for easier navigation when in the store.
